Whereas most adjustable guide rods utilize a cap screw to capture the spring the Radian Compressor uses a screwless design. The dovetail interface is captured by the spring allowing for a secure and simple lock-up. The guide rod itself is head treated and is finished with a corrosion-resistant Nitride finish. If you are installing this into a gen 4-5 GLOCK 19 you will need to add the included captive bushing.
