416 variants / M27 etc. clone markings for the build kit are available as an option. Our markings are some of the best/most accurate available, and significantly more affordable than other providers! Please let us know what you would like in the checkout notes, or we will randomize it for you.
The upper and handguard will receive "T" markings regardless.
There is a manufacturer's guarantee from us that these receivers meet the functional blueprint of a "mil-spec" 416. In the event that a non-conforming receiver does leave our facility, an RMA will be issued, and we will make things right.
Our receivers (in any color) will come standard with a Cerakote finish.
We have many years of experience professionally applying Cerakote and despite it being more costly than anodizing, we have identified some key advantages to enhance our customers' experience, which is our #1 goal:
- This enables us to fulfill new orders (or warranty repairs) more quickly,
- Full control of the color consistency,
- Custom color options (the sky is the limit!),
- Offer color-matching for other components (upper receiver, receiver extension, etc. - email us for more details and pricing!),
- And the capacity to quickly refurbish worn parts (email us for details and pricing!).
Limited lifetime warranty on the Cerakote finish - this does not cover normal use or obvious abuse. For example: marring, scuffs, scratches, fading, etc. are normal for any firearm finish to experience with use and is NOT covered under warranty. "Large" chipping or flaking of the coating is NOT normal, and happens due to improper application and/or contamination, and WILL be covered under warranty.
An important note about materials and surface finishing:
A surface finish can enhance appearance, wear resistance, and corrosion protection, but it does not compensate for inferior base materials. That's why every IPM4D receiver is machined from premium 7075-T6 aluminum. We're committed to complete transparency and will gladly provide the Material Test Report (MTR) for the aluminum used in your receiver upon request.
When in-stock, please allow approximately 7-10+ business days to process build kit orders *without* markings. Build kits components are coated together to ensure a beautiful matching finish. Additional parts/items, customizations, and/or laser services (clone markings) with your order will often take longer to process. Lead-times will vary without prior notice.
